GIVE NEW LIFE TO OLD CELL PHONES
Charitable Recycling Program – provides a tax-deductible donation to the charity of your choice for each cell phone it collects – regardless of condition or age of the item 800-527-4700, ext. 301; http://www.charitablerecycling.com/

Eco-Cell partners with zoos across the country to raise funds for environmental conservation programs. Old cell phones can be dropped off at participating organizations, where they will be refurbished and sold at a discount to low-income families 888-326-3357; http://www.eco-cell.org/

Hopeline uses proceeds from the sale of refurbished products to provide cell phones and airtime for victims of domestic violence. Phones of any type can be returned to any Verizon Wireless store (800-426-2790; www.verizonwireless.com/hopeline

ReCellular Wireless Recycling -- The Wireless Recycling Network has over 2,000 organizations collecting phones to support charitable and environmental programs around the world. http://www.recellular.com/recycling/recyclingPartners.asp
